Nicola (smilernpb) and I have been chatting via email ever since we were partnered up, it was strange at first to talk to someone you have never met before but now I really do think I have made a really good friend, so I must thank Silkie Sue for organising this swap and for pairing me up with such a lovely lady...
its really surprising how much we have in common...
We decided to post our swaps on the same day so that they arrived at the same time and they did indeed....
I returned from the office to find Mr postie had been really kind and left my parcel tucked away by the front door.. otherwise I would have had to go into town and collect it from the sorting office...
After fetching the camera I set about unwrapping!

I returned from the office to find Mr postie had been really kind and left my parcel tucked away by the front door.. otherwise I would have had to go into town and collect it from the sorting office...
After fetching the camera I set about unwrapping!
As I started to unwrap the parcel it was wafting beautiful scents, inside were 3 tissue paper covered parcels...
One parcel had an instruction to open last... which I giggled about and put to one side!
Inside the first parcel was...
There was a beautiful card with a cross stitched letter A, and a lovely little note inside... this will have pride of place in the lounge on my side table where I sit and crochet of an evening...
there was a fabulous toiletries bag with an assortment of body shop goodies... I can't remember the last time I bought white musk and strawberry bubbles and oils... I was probably at college... I was so excited I was shaking and I could have cried at the thought that had gone into my gifts...
plus there was more yet!
I unwrapped my second parcel to find some yummy Guylian shells... one of my favourites that I very rarely get these days... some lovely buttons, a post card of Durham... which I think I have driven through on my way to Losimouth with Mr P many moons ago... and a fab note pad...
Nicola has cross stitched a little picture for me and I love it so much... she has even written a little bit on the back so that I will always know when I got it and from whom!
I am going for a seaside theme in my lounge this summer, and it will have pride of place on my side table so I can sit and marvel at the love, time and effort that went into it...
