Thank you

Are there more germs and viruses out there this year or are we just a very unhealthy and unlucky household ?

Well Danny is on the mend and thank you all so much for your well wishes and comments, to be honest this is my first long sit at the laptop, I have had my messages read to me by my dear daughter and she has then published them for me as I was struck down by the Sickness and "yes you've guessed it" bug.... anyway I am feeling a little better if somewhat washed out.

Jamie is off school today, full of cold so hopefully she will be all better by next week as its her 12th birthday.

Mr P has soldiered on and even though his work colleagues are dropping like flies he is managing to stay clear of it all (at the moment).

So this is just a quick visit to say thank you and to let you all know that we are recovering well.

Wishing you all a happy Wednesday
and to my friends who have snow, keep warm and stay safe
and to those of you dealing with bugs and nasties big supportive hugs
and to those in warmer climes and full of health and vitality.... you lucky beggars! lol

Keep taking that vit C or whatever special potion is bringing you all back to health!
Just saw your thrifty wish list - I will keep an eye out for these things, but you must explain, what is a domed cake plate? Is it simply a plate with a dome to go on top? What colour?

glad you're all recovering, yes I think there are more germs around this year, I'm just getting over a sore throat and cough which started on 23rd December!!

Oh, poor you. Poor, poor you. Hope you get better soon. I bought a big domed cheese board in a charity shop last year and kept the glass dome to fit over a pressed glass cakestand. It looks really good....... :O)

Glad to hear that you are recovering. It does get you down as it affects so many things. The housework falls behind etc..

You recently asked me about that little foxglove dish, it's carlton Ware. I love the box! I can see myself beginning to collect it too.

Warm wishes

Glad you like the shoes and YES you should definately get a pair too ;) They should make it compulsorary that mums treat themselves on a regular basis. I'm terrible at it I always spend it all on the smalls but not this time lol

I hope you're all feeling better. I was minding my pals wee boy on sunday while she nipped out for a pint of milk (we'd used it all while nattering) and he suddenly started projectile vomitting everywhere. He's shown no sign of feeling poorly before that but unfortunately has been ill since then :(

Hello!
Thankyou so much for your lovely message about Robs Hamish Stories xxHe will very very chuffed! Rob wrote and Illustrated the first Hamish book when he was still at University, but the books have yet to be published... they have been sat in folder until recently, but there has been a little interest now and I have made Hamish to use to promote the story.

Now I'm off to have a catch up on your blogxxx
Bye for now
Love Sam (and Hamish!)
